{"id":4440,"date":"2022-03-17T10:37:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-17T02:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=4440"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:01:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:01:26","slug":"homemade-chocolate-turtles-bypaigeashlie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/homemade-chocolate-turtles-bypaigeashlie","title":{"rendered":"Homemade Chocolate Turtles"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1.5 cups dark chocolate, I used @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips<br \/>\n2 tsp coconut oil, @nakednaturalfoods<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp sea salt<br \/>\n1\/2 &#8211; 3\/4 cup pecans<br \/>\n1\/2 cup cane or coconut sugar<br \/>\n2 tbsp coconut milk, full fat<br \/>\n4 tbsp vegan butter, I used @miyokoscreamery<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp vanilla<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Start by melting 3\/4 cup of the chocolate chips either via double boiler method or microwave.<br \/>\nIf using the microwave, add 1 tsp of coconut oil and do in 30 second intervals.<br \/>\nRemove from microwave once 85% melted, stir to melt the rest.<br \/>\nTake the melted chocolate and fill your muffin cups (makes a dozen &amp; I highly recommend silicone baking cups).<br \/>\nOnce evenly distributed, place in the freezer for 15 minutes to harden.<br \/>\nnow, make the caramel sauce. In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the sugar, butter, coconut milk and a pinch of sea salt.<br \/>\nOnce the mixture is bubbling and starting to thicken (about 7ish minutes), remove from the heat and add in the vanilla.<br \/>\nI could drink this sauce it\u2019s that good.<br \/>\nnow, remove the chocolate from the freezer and top each cup with the caramel sauce. Once all cups are full of caramel.<br \/>\nBreak up as many pecan pieces as you\u2019d like and add to the caramel sauce layer. Place back in the freezer to harden.<br \/>\nnow, take the remaining 3\/4 cup chocolate chips and melt (same as 1st step).<br \/>\nAdd coconut oil if using microwave.<br \/>\nOnce this is done and the chocolate caramel cups have been in the freezer for another 15-30 mins, remove and add the final chocolate layer.<br \/>\nSprinkle with flaky sea salt and place back in the freezer to harden. I<br \/>\npersonally keep my chocolate turtle cups in the freezer and let thaw for a min or two before eating.<br \/>\nenjoy!
