In a separate bowl, beat together with a mixer the butter and sugars until smooth.<br \/>\nAdd the egg and vanilla and mix at low speed. Gradually add in the flour and mix just until everything is combined.<br \/>\nDo not over mix. Stir in the chocolate chips. Chill the dough at least 1 hour in the fridge.<br \/>\nOnce chilled, scoop the dough with a heaping tbsp or a measuring cup, forming a ball with your hands.<br \/>\nPlace them on a baking sheet and do not flatten them.<br \/>\nBake in a preheated oven on 180 degrees for 10 minutes (more or less depending on the size of the cookies and the oven) or just until the edges and bottoms are browned.
