{"id":4264,"date":"2022-03-15T07:50:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-14T23:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=4264"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:02:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:02:01","slug":"homemade-pomodoro-sauce-kristelskitchenblog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/homemade-pomodoro-sauce-kristelskitchenblog","title":{"rendered":"Homemade Pomodoro Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>8 medium sized ripe tomatoes, halved<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves<br \/>\n1 medium onion chopped<br \/>\n2 tbsp olive oil, divided<br \/>\n2 tbsp tomato pur\u00e9e<br \/>\nSmall bunch basil leaves<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp sugar<br \/>\nDried oregano<br \/>\nSalt and pepper<br \/>\n(Optional for heat lovers) cayenne pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Place foil on a baking tray and add the halved tomatoes and the garlic (skin on).<br \/>\nDrizzle 1 tbsp olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat.<br \/>\nRoast in a preheated oven on 200 degrees for 25 minutes or until you see dark spots on the skin.<br \/>\nIn the meantime, heat 1 tbsp olive oil on medium heat and cook the onions until soft.<br \/>\nAdd the sugar and tomato pur\u00e9e, mix and cook for another minute.
