{"id":3829,"date":"2022-03-13T07:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-12T23:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=3829"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:02:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:02:14","slug":"salted-egg-pumpkin-wondernonieskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/salted-egg-pumpkin-wondernonieskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Salted Egg Pumpkin"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>500 g pumpkin (cut into thick matchsticks)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/4 cup cornstarch<br \/>\n1 cup oil<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic (finely minced)<br \/>\n3 salted egg yolks (cooked)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Place pumpkin on a plate, sprinkle salt, toss to coat &amp; set aside for 15 mins.<br \/>\nCrush yolks with a fork in a small bowl.<br \/>\nDrain liquid from the pumpkin, add cornstarch &amp; toss to coat evenly.<br \/>\nHeat oil in a pot over medium high heat until hot, fry pumpkin in batches until they become crispy &amp; cooked through (abt 5 mins)<br \/>\nRemove from heat &amp; transfer into a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.<br \/>\nRemove oil from pot, leaving only 1 tbsp behind, reduce heat to medium low, add garlic &amp; fry until fragrant.<br \/>\nAdd crumbled yolks, cook &amp; stir until it is thick &amp; foamy but not browned.<br \/>\nAdd pumpkin back in, stir well until evenly coated.<br \/>\nTransfer onto serving plate, garnish with chopped parsley, chilli flakes (optional) &amp; serve immediately.<\/p>\n<h2>Steamed Tofu With Mushrooms<\/h2>\n<p>1 block soft to medium firm tofu<br \/>\n250 g mushrooms (sliced)<br \/>\n2 tbsp oil<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic (minced)<br \/>\n3 tbsp soy sauce<br \/>\n1 fresh red chilli (sliced)<br \/>\n1 tbsp scallion (chopped)<br \/>\n1 tsp sesame oil<\/p>\n<h2>Steps To Make Steamed Tofu<\/h2>\n<p>Slice tofu into 1\/2 inch slices of desired shape, place on heatproof plate &amp; steam for 5 mins.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, heat oil in a pan on medium high.<br \/>\nAdd garlic &amp; fry till fragrant.<br \/>\nAdd mushrooms &amp; cook for 10 mins, add soy sauce &amp; cook for another 2 mins.<br \/>\nPlace soy sauce mushrooms on top of steamed tofu, sprinkle with sliced chillies, scallion &amp; sesame oil.<\/p>\n<h2>For The Chinese Cabbage With Goji Berries,<\/h2>\n<p>simply heat 1 tbsp of oil, add minced garlic (3 cloves) &amp; sliced onion (1 medium) &amp; fry till onion turns translucent.<br \/>\nAdd sliced carrots (1 medium), cook for 2 mins &amp; add sliced Chinese\/napa cabbage (3 cups).<br \/>\nCook for 2 mins then add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp of Goji berries &amp; 1\/4 tsp ground white pepper.<br \/>\nCook till cabbage has reached desired doneness.<br \/>\nRemove from heat &amp; serve immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients 500 g pumpkin (cut into thick matchsticks) 1\/2 tsp salt 1\/4 cup cornstarch 1 cup oil 2 cloves garlic (finely minced) 3 salted egg yolks (cooked) Steps Place pumpkin on a plate, sprinkle salt, toss to coat &amp; set aside for 15 mins.
