{"id":3670,"date":"2022-03-11T12:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T04:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=3670"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:02:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:02:35","slug":"banana-suzette-french-toast-nanos_kitchen1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/banana-suzette-french-toast-nanos_kitchen1","title":{"rendered":"Banana Suzette French Toast"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>12 slices brioche bread &#8211; I used @walmart bakery vanilla brioche<br \/>\nUnsalted Butter for frying (about 4 tablespoons or more, as needed)- you can also use the spray<br \/>\n<strong>For the Custard :<\/strong><br \/>\n4 large eggs<br \/>\n2 tablespoons granulated sugar<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups half and half<br \/>\n1 teaspoon cinnamon<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract<br \/>\n<strong>To Make the Banana Suzette :<\/strong><br \/>\n4 tablespoons unsalted butter<br \/>\n1\/2 cup packed brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 cup maple syrup<br \/>\n1\/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)<br \/>\n2 bananas, peeled and cut lengthwise.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, Half and Half, cinnamon and vanilla.<br \/>\nPreheat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.<br \/>\nDip the bread into the mix to coat both sides. Remove from the mix and set aside.<br \/>\nAdd 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter into the skillet.<br \/>\nPlace the bread in the pan and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes per side or until lightly golden.<br \/>\nRemove the French toast from the skillet*<br \/>\nAdd more butter to the pan as needed and repeat with the remaining bread.<br \/>\n<em><strong>To Make the Banana Suzette :<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nHeat the butter in a saute pan over medium-high heat.<br \/>\nWhisk in the brown sugar and maple syrup and cook for about 5 minutes or until all the sugar has melted and thickened slightly.<br \/>\nAdd the pecans and mix to combine.
