{"id":3668,"date":"2022-03-11T12:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T04:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=3668"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:02:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:02:35","slug":"nasi-kabsa-arab-arabian-kabsa-rice-engineers_plates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/nasi-kabsa-arab-arabian-kabsa-rice-engineers_plates","title":{"rendered":"Nasi Kabsa Arab (Arabian Kabsa Rice)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>3 cups basmati rice (long-grain rice), soaked in water for about an hour<br \/>\n1 carrot, shredded (optional)<br \/>\nOlive oil<br \/>\n700 gr bone-in lamb leg cuts<br \/>\n400 gr beef cuts<br \/>\n8 small onions, chopped<br \/>\n2 tbsp minced garlic<br \/>\n2 tbsp tomato paste<br \/>\nA cup fresh tomato puree<br \/>\n3 bay leaves<br \/>\n6 cardamom<br \/>\n2 stick cinnamon<br \/>\n1 tsp lemon zest<br \/>\n1 tbsp ginger powder<br \/>\n1 tsp white pepper<br \/>\n2 tbsp kabsa powder (optional)<br \/>\n1 tbsp salt<br \/>\n1 litre water<\/p>\n<h2>Topping<\/h2>\n<p>Raisins, saute in hot oil till a bit brown<br \/>\nOnion flakes<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>1. Saute the onions till fragrant in a pressure cooker.<br \/>\n2. Add the meat cuts. Stir till changed the colour.<br \/>\n3. Add all the rest ingredients except rice, carrot, and kabsa powder. Stir until well-combined.<br \/>\n4. Cover with the lid, sealed. Cook it for 30 minutes in medium heat.<br \/>\n5. Transfer it to a big pot. Turn on the heat in medium one.<br \/>\n6. Put the soaked rice, carrot, and kabsa powder in. Stir it well.<br \/>\n7. Once boiled, cover with the lid, then lower the heat. Cook it for about 30 minutes or until the rice cooked.<br \/>\n8. Place it on a serving tray. Sprinkle the toppings.
