{"id":3089,"date":"2022-03-09T09:50:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T01:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=3089"},"modified":"2026-03-09T21:03:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T13:03:12","slug":"green-bean-casserole-wondernonieskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/green-bean-casserole-wondernonieskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Green Bean Casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Caramelised Onions Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 large onions (sliced)<br \/>\n2 tbsp butter<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp ground black pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>In a large pan, melt butter &amp; add onions.<br \/>\nSaute for 20 mins on low heat.<br \/>\nAdd salt &amp; pepper, cook till onions have fully caramelised (not burnt) &amp; set aside.<\/p>\n<h2>White Sauce<\/h2>\n<p>2 tbsp butter<br \/>\n2 tbsp flour<br \/>\n1 cup milk<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp ground black pepper<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp nutmeg powder<br \/>\n1\/2 cup cheese of choice (grated)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps White Sauce<\/h2>\n<p>Melt butter in a saucepan on medium low heat.<br \/>\nAdd flour, stir continuously &amp; cook until mixture has turned a light brown.<br \/>\nAdd milk, whisk continuously &amp; bring to a boil.<br \/>\nAdd salt, pepper &amp; nutmeg, continue cooking till sauce has reached desired consistency.<br \/>\nTurn off the heat, add cheese, stir well &amp; set aside.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients Beans<\/h2>\n<p>300 g green beans<br \/>\n1\/2 cup panko or other breadcrumb of choice<\/p>\n<h2>Finishing<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat oven to 200 deg C.<br \/>\nWash thoroughly, cut off both ends of green beans then cut them in half for easy serving &amp; eating.<br \/>\nBlanch for 2 mins, drain, pat dry &amp; transfer into a lightly greased baking tray.<br \/>\nLadle white sauce onto green beans, followed by caramelised onions &amp; panko.<br \/>\nSpray panko layer lightly with olive oil &amp; bake for 15 mins or until surface has turned a light brown.<br \/>\nRemove from oven &amp; serve immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Caramelised Onions Ingredients 2 large onions (sliced) 2 tbsp butter 1\/4 tsp salt 1\/8 tsp ground black pepper Steps In a large pan, melt butter &amp; add onions.
