{"id":27634,"date":"2024-12-31T12:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-31T04:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=27634"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:22:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:22:12","slug":"awamat-sweet-donut-balls-hungergameswithazzy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/awamat-sweet-donut-balls-hungergameswithazzy","title":{"rendered":"Awamat ( Sweet Donut Balls )"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients For The Syrup<\/h2>\n<p>4 cups sugar<br \/>\n2 cups of water<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<br \/>\n2 tbs lemon juice<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>in a saucepan add all the ingredients together on medium to high heat.<br \/>\nlet it simmer until sugar is disolved and the syrup is thick enough to coat the back of a metal spoon<br \/>\nlet it cool<\/p>\n<h2>For The Dough<\/h2>\n<p>2 cups of plain flour<br \/>\n1 tbs cornflour<br \/>\n1 tbs active dry yeast (make sure it is not expired )<br \/>\n1 tbs sugar<br \/>\n1\u20444 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 cup 1\u20442 of lukewarm water<br \/>\nCanola oil or vegetable oil for frying<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Add all dry ingredients to a bowl.<br \/>\nGradually and slowly add in the water whilst mixing you want a loose dough not to thick and not to runny<br \/>\nonce the dough is done with a glove pinch any clumped up flour in the mix ( this is crucial as the balls can explode in the frying process is not mixed through properly)<br \/>\ncover the dough for 30 minutes to an hour max you don&#8217;t want to over rest it<br \/>\nin a pot add in 4 cups of vegetable or canola oil<br \/>\nturn on heat to 180 degrees on medium<br \/>\nyou will need a cup of the oil on the side so you can dip the teaspoon when moulding the balls<br \/>\nput on gloves as this can get messy<br \/>\nnow with your right hand hold the teaspoon and dip it in the oil and with your left hand place your hand in the dough give a mix and make a fist with the dough coming through and making a little ball and with the teaspoon scrape it off and add into the hot oil<br \/>\nrepeat this process and you will need to add about 10 balls into the oil at a time do not over crowd the pot<br \/>\nnow with a slotted metal spoon mix the balls in the oil until they turn golden brown .
