{"id":27308,"date":"2024-12-27T12:56:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-27T04:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=27308"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:22:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:22:18","slug":"healthy-bran-rusks-ataleofsauceandspice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/healthy-bran-rusks-ataleofsauceandspice","title":{"rendered":"Healthy Bran Rusks"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Dry Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>500g flour (Barley\/Cake flour)<br \/>\n3 cups Bran flakes<br \/>\n3\/4 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n3 tablespoons desiccated coconut<br \/>\n4 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n1\/2 cup chopped almonds (or your choice of nuts)<\/p>\n<h2>Wet Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 eggs<br \/>\n250g melted butter (cooled)<br \/>\n2\/3 cup curd\/buttermilk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup milk<br \/>\n2 teaspoons vanilla essence<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>1. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.<br \/>\n2. Whisk together the wet ingredients in another bowl.<br \/>\n3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients until well incorporated.<br \/>\n4. Press down the mixture neatly in a large rectangular baking tray lined with parchment paper.<br \/>\n5. Bake at 180C for 25 minutes or until light golden.<br \/>\n6. Remove from oven and let it cool completely.<br \/>\n7. Slice it using a serrated knife using a sawing motion into 10cm long rusks with a 2.5 to 3cm thickness.<br \/>\n8. Place the cut rusks with the cut side facing up on an oven grill, spacing them 2cm apart.<br \/>\n9. Bake on 150C for 45-50 minutes.<br \/>\n10. Once done, let them cool completely in the oven without opening the oven door.<br \/>\n11. Store in an airtight container.<br \/>\n12.
