Marinate the salmon with 1\/2 tsp of turmeric, 1\/2 tsp of chilli powder and lemon juice<br \/>\n2. Heat 4 tbsp of oil in a pan and lightly fry the fish for a 2 minutes on each side, until it gets some colour<br \/>\n3. Remove the fish and set aside<br \/>\n4. To the same pan, add 2 tbsp of oil and the dried chillies and cumin seeds<br \/>\n5. Once the cumin seeds start spluttering, add 1 tsp of turmeric, 1 tsp of chilli powder and salt<br \/>\n6. Add water (add some to the bowl the fish was marinated in) and pour all this in<br \/>\n7. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes<br \/>\n8. Reduce on high heat for 5 minutes<br \/>\n9.
