{"id":26560,"date":"2023-10-29T09:17:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-29T01:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=26560"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:23:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:23:18","slug":"homemade-portuguese-rolls-ataleofsauceandspice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/homemade-portuguese-rolls-ataleofsauceandspice","title":{"rendered":"Homemade Portuguese Rolls"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>3 cups bread flour (sifted)<br \/>\n1 tablespoon sugar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon yeast<br \/>\n1 teaspoon salt<br \/>\n3 tablespoons oil<br \/>\nApproximately 1 cup warm water or as required<br \/>\n3 tablespoons softened butter (42g)<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>In a large bowl, mix together the sifted bread flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.<br \/>\nMake a well in the centre and add the oil along with the water mix as you add the water gradually till you get a shaggy dough and there are no bits of dry flour left.<br \/>\nTransfer to a clean work surface. Knead the dough till it comes together in a ball.<br \/>\nSpread the dough flat, then add softened butter in the centre.<br \/>\nBring the sides of the dough back to the centre and knead the dough for a good 10 minutes until the dough is nice, smooth, and elastic.<br \/>\nCover and let it rise till double in size appropriately for 1 hour.<br \/>\nDivide the dough into equal portions. I made about 10 big size rolls.<br \/>\nShape the dough balls into smooth balls.<br \/>\nDip the shaped dough in some flour on both sides flatten slightly and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.<br \/>\nShape the remaining dough in the same manner.
