In 1\/4 cup oil saute 2 medium sliced onions, 1 n 1\/2 tsp cumin seeds, 2 bay leaves, 1 piece oc cinnamon<br \/>\nstick an 1 or 2 Star Anise flower.<br \/>\n3. Roast all spices with onion until it seems translucent and oil separate from masala.<br \/>\n4.Now add around 4 glasses of water in pan with 2 tsp salt, chopped coriander and green chilies.<br \/>\nGreen chilies are totally optional you can skip if you want.<br \/>\n5. Once water start boiling add soaked rice in pan and mix well. Wter should be 1 inch up from rice.<br \/>\n6. On this stage taste salt and adjust according to your taste.<br \/>\n7. Add 1\/4 tsp grounded mace, nutmeg and green cardamom.<br \/>\n8. Once water reduce and level with rice cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes on medium high flame and<br \/>\n8 to 10 mnutes on slow flame until all the moisture dries up and rice cooked well.<br \/>\n9.
