{"id":25953,"date":"2023-10-01T16:28:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-01T08:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=25953"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:24:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:24:26","slug":"malfouf-insidereereeskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/malfouf-insidereereeskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Malfouf"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1\/2 kilo mince meat<br \/>\n1 cup Rice<br \/>\n2 kilos beef neck on bones<br \/>\n1 Green cabbage (medium size)<br \/>\n12-16 Cloves of garlic<br \/>\nOnion<br \/>\n1 cup pomegranate molases<br \/>\n7 spices<br \/>\nBlack pepper<br \/>\nGround cinnamon<br \/>\nCumin<br \/>\nSalt<br \/>\n1 tblsp gee<br \/>\n2 tsp dried mint<br \/>\n3 bay leaves<br \/>\n1 dried lemon<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>Using a knife, cut around the core of the cabbage.<br \/>\nHeat up a large pot of water.<br \/>\nPrepare your cabbage by removing the outer loose or damaged leaves.<br \/>\nPlace the cabbage in the water. Let boil for 5 minutes until tender.<br \/>\nOne by one, remove the blanched cabbage leaves and place them in a colander.<br \/>\nWash the rice add it to the mince meat, add 7 spices, cinnamon, black pepper, cumin and salt combine everything together by moxing woth your hand.<br \/>\nLay out the cabbage leaves, use a small knife, cut the thick rib in the middle of each leaf and cut the cabbage leaves in half.<br \/>\nPlace the filling on a cabbage leaf and spread it lengthwise. If you are able to, fold the sides in and roll the cabbage leaf forward.<br \/>\nIf the sides are not able to fold in the sides, just roll forward. Repeat until you finish all the leaves.<br \/>\nTo prepare the beef stock boil your water add the beef necks and boil it for 10 minutes.<br \/>\nAfter 10 minutes throw away the water was your meat and in a large pot add clean water and return the necks to the pot.<br \/>\nAdd cinnamon stick, bay leaves and dry lemon. Let it boil for 20 minutes and remove any foam that come on the surface.<br \/>\nTo cook the cabbage, in a large pot add gee and cook the chopped onion for 1 minute.<br \/>\nPlace any leftover smaller or cut cabbage leaves on top, add 6 garlic cloves.<br \/>\nCook until onion is soft.<br \/>\nLay the cooked beef bones on top of the cabbage. Line up the cabbage rolls side by side as tight as possible.<br \/>\nOnce done add 6 chopped garlic cloves, sprinkle some dried mint, sprinkle salt and pour the beef broth on top of the cabbage rolls until almost fully covered.<br \/>\nCover with a plate, apply pressure and cook on high heat.<br \/>\nOnce boiled lower the heat to medium.<br \/>\nAfter 20 minutes remove the pressure and the plate and apply pomegranate molases on top.<br \/>\nRetun the plate and apply the pressure again and put it on a low heat and leave it until its fully cooked.
