{"id":25700,"date":"2023-09-08T10:40:00","date_gmt":"2023-09-08T02:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=25700"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:24:57","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:24:57","slug":"easy-potato-samosa-katz__kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/easy-potato-samosa-katz__kitchen","title":{"rendered":"Easy Potato Samosa"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients For Filling<\/h2>\n<p>2 tbsp of ghee<br \/>\n1 tbsp of cumin seeds<br \/>\n1.5 tbsp of freshly grated ginger<br \/>\n5 green chillies<br \/>\n4 medium sized potatoes cut into cubes<br \/>\n1.5 tsp of turmeric<br \/>\n1 tsp of chilli powder<br \/>\n1\/2 cup of water<br \/>\n1\/2 cup of freshly chopped coriander leaves<br \/>\nsalt, to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Dough Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 cups of plain flour<br \/>\n1 tsp of caraway seeds<br \/>\n1 tsp of salt<br \/>\n60 ml of canola oil<br \/>\n1\/3 cup 3 tbsp of chilled water<\/p>\n<h2>Other Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>oil for frying<br \/>\nextra chilled water for joining the dough<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>1. Add the ghee to a pan and once it melts, add cumin seeds<br \/>\n2. Add ginger and chillies and saute\u0301 them<br \/>\n3. Once the ginger starts turning brown, add the diced potatoes, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and water<br \/>\n4. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft<br \/>\n5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and set aside<br \/>\n6. To make the dough, mix the flour, caraway seeds and salt with canola oil and incrementally added chilled water<br \/>\n7. Roll out into circles and cut them in half along the middle<br \/>\n8. Then fold each half into 3 sections to create a pocket and join sides with some water<br \/>\n9. Add the filling and close up the samosa with more water<br \/>\n10. Fry in hot oil until golden brown<br \/>\n11.
