{"id":25093,"date":"2023-08-10T09:26:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-10T01:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=25093"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:26:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:26:19","slug":"vanilla-caramel-sponge-the_kitchen_girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/vanilla-caramel-sponge-the_kitchen_girl","title":{"rendered":"Vanilla Caramel Sponge"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>*Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature before starting.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n125g soft salted Butter<br \/>\n1 cup \/ 210g Sugar ( reduce if you dont like it too sweet)<br \/>\n3 large Eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 cup \/ 125ml Milk<br \/>\n1 &amp;1\/2 cups \/ 200g Flour<br \/>\n3 teaspoons baking powder<br \/>\n2 teaspoons Vanilla extract<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Preheat oven to 180c.<br \/>\nAdd all the ingredients to a stand mixer.<br \/>\nBeat on high for 5 minutes until light and pale.<br \/>\nPlace in a lined 20cm baking pan ( round, square or a bundt).<br \/>\nBake for 30 to 40 min until the top is firm to the touch .<br \/>\nRemove from the oven, and cool in the pan completely.<br \/>\nThe cake will shrink down, this is normal.<br \/>\nTopple onto a cooling rack.<br \/>\nCut the cake into two halves.<br \/>\nSpread half a tin caramel treat and sandwich the cakes. This is optional. You can leave the cake plain too or spread jam as well.<br \/>\nCut into squares. Dust with icing sugar.<br \/>\nServe.
