Place them on a baking sheet along with the chopped onion and garlic cloves.<br \/>\nDrizzle generously with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.<br \/>\nRoast on 200 degrees for 30 minutes or until the peppers are soft and have black spots.<br \/>\nTake out of the oven, cover for 10 minutes then remove the skin off the peppers.<br \/>\nPlace them in a blender along with the cooked onions and garlic.<br \/>\nBlend until soft, then add the ricotta cheese.<br \/>\nBlend again until you get a smooth sauce.<br \/>\nGive it a quick taste and adjust salt and pepper to your liking.<br \/>\nAdd the sauce to the cooked pasta.
