Add the lentils and water to a pot and bring to a boil<br \/>\n2. Remove any scum that may appear on the top<br \/>\n3. Add the turmeric, salt and coconut milk and bring to a rolling boil<br \/>\n4. Meanwhile saute\u0301 the onions, ginger, cumin and dried chillies until slightly caramelised<br \/>\n5. Add the onions and spices to the lentils and mix<br \/>\n6. Add chopped coriander and mix well<br \/>\n7.
