{"id":24610,"date":"2023-07-23T10:03:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-23T02:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=24610"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:27:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:27:22","slug":"layered-beef-katsu-curry-stirwithme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/layered-beef-katsu-curry-stirwithme","title":{"rendered":"Layered Beef Katsu Curry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>500g sliced beef<br \/>\n150g mozzarella cheese<br \/>\n2 (200g) potatoes<br \/>\n1 (80g) carrot<br \/>\n200ml coconut cream<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp tamarind liquid<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp sugar<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<br \/>\n500-600ml Water<br \/>\n3 tbsp neutral oil<br \/>\nOil for deep frying<\/p>\n<h2>Breading<\/h2>\n<p>Mix 2 tbsp all purpose flour 2 tbsp water 1 egg<br \/>\n1\/4 cup all purpose flour<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cup panko bread crumbs<\/p>\n<h2>Curry Spices<\/h2>\n<p>10 (40g) shallots<br \/>\n3 (20g) garlic<br \/>\n6g toasted shrimp paste<br \/>\n3 toasted Candlenuts<br \/>\n20g galangal<br \/>\n12g ginger<br \/>\n7g turmeric<br \/>\n1 (7g) lemongrass (discard outer layer)<br \/>\n50g chilies<br \/>\n2 tsp dried shrimp<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>1. Curry: Blend curry spices until smooth and pasty<br \/>\n2. Saute spices until darken in color, for 3-5mins<br \/>\n3. Add water, let it boil, add potatoes and carrot, cover and lower the heat, cook until tender for 10mins<br \/>\n4. Add sugar, salt, tamarind liquid and coconut cream. Simmer until curry slightly thicken in consistency. Remove and set a side<br \/>\n5. Beef katsu: line sliced beef like shown in the video<br \/>\n6. Place cheese in the centre, roll it up, wrap it close and tight, make sure to cover cheese entirely<br \/>\n7. Coat beef with flour lightly, then into the egg mixture, then dredge with panko bread crumbs evenly<br \/>\n8. Deep fry into the hot oil, for 5-10 mins over low heat until golden brown and crispy<br \/>\n9.
