{"id":24307,"date":"2023-07-17T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-07-17T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=24307"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:27:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:27:39","slug":"gravox-mushroom-gravy-steak-korkyskitchenofficial_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/gravox-mushroom-gravy-steak-korkyskitchenofficial_","title":{"rendered":"Gravox Mushroom Gravy Steak"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>Dash of olive oil<br \/>\n1 kilo steak of choice (I used porterhouse )<br \/>\n4 tbs Worcestershire sauce<br \/>\n50g salted butter<br \/>\n1 diced brown onion<br \/>\n5 cloves of crushed garlic<br \/>\n200g sliced brown mushrooms<br \/>\n6 heaped tbs of Gravox Traditional Gravy powder<br \/>\n600mls water<br \/>\n1 tbs salt<br \/>\n300mls thickened cream<br \/>\n10g of fresh thyme<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>1.In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sear off the steaks a few mins on each side, add the Worcestershire sauce to them as they sear off and set aside with the juices.<br \/>\n2.In the same pan add butter and cook off the onion, garlic and mushrooms.<br \/>\n3.Season mushrooms with salt.<br \/>\n4.After a few mins mix the gravy powder with water and whisk well.<br \/>\n5.Add to the skillet and bring to a boil, add thickened cream and simmer until a nice creamy consistency is formed.<br \/>\n6.Add the steaks back in with their juices and cover and simmer on a low heat about 30-40 mins.<br \/>\n7.Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with steamed greens.<br \/>\n8.If the sauce has thickened too much add a little water until it reaches a creamy consistency.
