Cook shrimp 2 minutes depending on size. We used 16-20 shrimp to the pound. (Our favorite way to cook shrimp is to bring a full pot of water to a boil with bay leaves, whole peppercorns, whole allspice berries, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 Tbs salt and 1 whole star anise. Then add the shrimp, simmer for 2 minutes, drain and peel)<br \/>\n2. Chop the shrimp into 3 pieces. Reserve a few whole shrimp for garnish.<br \/>\n3. Mix the shrimp with all the other ingredients. Let sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.<br \/>\n4. Serve in martini glasses and garnish with a whole shrimp, a slice of avocado and a slice of jalapen\u0303o. Serve cold. Add edible flowers (optional).
