{"id":23632,"date":"2023-06-25T12:47:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-25T04:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=23632"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:28:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:28:49","slug":"homemade-shish-barak-halalfoodieguru","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/homemade-shish-barak-halalfoodieguru","title":{"rendered":"Homemade Shish Barak"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><em><strong>Dough:<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n2 packets of Gow Gee Dumpling pastry (available @woolworths_au<br \/>\n<em><strong>Filling :<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n500g Beef Mince<br \/>\n1 Onion<br \/>\n1 teaspoon of mixed spice<br \/>\n1 teaspoon of vegeta<br \/>\n1 tablespoon of pomegranate molasses<br \/>\nSalt &amp; pepper to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Yogurt Sauce<\/h2>\n<p>2 kg Greek yogurt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tsp Salt<br \/>\n2 tbsp Corn starch or plain flour<br \/>\n4 cups Water may need more<\/p>\n<h2>Garnish<\/h2>\n<p>1 tablespoon ghee<br \/>\n1 head Garlic crushed<br \/>\n2 coriander bunches chopped<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Fry with onions till golden and then add beef mince and cook till brown. Add the spices and molasses and set aside to cool.<br \/>\nPreheat oven to 180 degrees and spray oven tray with oil and put aside.<br \/>\nUse the dumpling pastry and place a teaspoon of filling in each and mould, once moulded add to the oiled oven tray.<br \/>\nComplete this action till all pastry and meat is finished.<br \/>\nPlace the tray with dumplings in the oven and cook till golden. Once golden, take them out and put aside.<br \/>\nPut the yoghurt ingredients in a pot and place on high heat and keep stirring thoroughly till it comes to a strong boil.<br \/>\nPlace the garnish ingredients in a pan and fry till just before golden and add to the boiling yoghurt pot.<br \/>\nAdd the dumpling a to the yoghurt sauce and let it cook through for a few minutes before putting in to separate bowls.<br \/>\nServe with a side of lentil rice, or you can also use normal vermicelli rice. You also can keep some cooked dumplings aside and not add them all to the yoghurt to add them into your individual plate and place a bit of yogurt sauce on top, it will be extra crunchy this way.
