{"id":23389,"date":"2023-06-07T14:37:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T06:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=23389"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:29:19","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:29:19","slug":"singapore-prawn-laksa-wondernonieskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/singapore-prawn-laksa-wondernonieskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Singapore Prawn Laksa"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients For Prawn Stock<\/h2>\n<p>1 tbsp coconut oil<br \/>\n3 cups prawns heads &amp; shells<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n4 cups water<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>To make prawn stock, add oil on medium high heat, once hot, add prawns, saute until moisture completely evaporates.<br \/>\nCarefully add water, scrape the bottom, bring to a boil, lower heat, cover &amp; simmer for 1 hr.<br \/>\nLet it cool, blend &amp; strain the stock (can be made a few days ahead)<\/p>\n<h2>Spice Paste<\/h2>\n<p>15 dried chillies (soaked in boiling water)<br \/>\n5 fresh red chillies<br \/>\n1 cup onion<br \/>\n3 cloves garlic<br \/>\n4 candlenuts (or cashew)<br \/>\n1 tbsp ginger<br \/>\n1 tbsp galangal<br \/>\n1 tsp turmeric powder<br \/>\n2 lemongrass (white parts only)<br \/>\n1 tbsp dried shrimp<br \/>\n1 tbsp coriander seeds (toasted)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>To a blender, add all ingredients &amp; finely blend (add some water if needed)<\/p>\n<h2>Gravy<\/h2>\n<p>2 tbsp coconut oil<br \/>\n2 cups prawn stock<br \/>\n2 tbsp fish sauce<br \/>\n1 tsp sugar<br \/>\n1&amp;1\/2 cups coconut milk<br \/>\n1\/2 cup laksa leaves<br \/>\n12 fishballs<br \/>\n12 tofu puffs<br \/>\n1 tsp salt<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Add oil to a pot on medium heat, add blended spice paste, cook for 20 mins, or until oil rises to the surface.<br \/>\nAdd stock, boil for 30 mins.<br \/>\nAdd the rest of the ingredients, stir, boil for 15 mins &amp; taste to adjust seasoning.<\/p>\n<h2>Assemble<\/h2>\n<p>thick rice noodles (cook according to instructions on packaging)<br \/>\nlarge prawns (deshelled, deveined &amp; blanched)<br \/>\nbeansprouts or greens of choice<br \/>\neggs (hard boiled)<br \/>\nsambal or sliced red chillies<br \/>\nPlace noodles in a serving bowl, pour gravy, garnish &amp; serve.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients For Prawn Stock 1 tbsp coconut oil 3 cups prawns heads &amp; shells 1\/2 tsp salt 4 cups water Steps To make prawn stock, add oil on medium high heat, once hot, add prawns, saute until moisture completely evaporates.
