Leave aside.<br \/>\nBring the milk and 1 tablespoon ghee to a boil. Switch the heat off.<br \/>\nAdd Chana flour to a large bowl. Add the hot boiled milk to the chana flour. Mix well to form bread crumbs.<br \/>\nHeat the 1 cup ghee and add the Chana flour mixture.<br \/>\nRoast on a low to medium heat until the mixture turns light medium brown. This takes time. Be patient.<br \/>\nYou do not want magaj that tastes like raw chana flour, so this is very necessary.<br \/>\nAdd the ground almonds and roast for a minute or two.<br \/>\nSwitch the heat off. Allow this to cool down overnight at room temperature covered.<br \/>\nPlace the cooled mixture ( room temperature) into a stand mixer with a dough hook.<br \/>\nAdd the milk powder, elachi powder and icing sugar.<br \/>\nBeat until the magaj is creamy and soft..<br \/>\nThis takes a while so dont freak out!!<br \/>\nThe mixture will look dry in the beginning, but as you keep mixing, it softens up.<br \/>\nThis takes about 15 to 20 min.<br \/>\nScoop out or pipe into cases.<br \/>\nAdd sliced Almonds, coloured almonds and edible glitter on top.<br \/>\nStore in an airtight container at room temperature.<br \/>\nEnjoy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients 250g Chana Flour 1 tsp Cardamon \/ Elachi powder 1 cup melted Ghee 1 tablespoon melted Ghee 1\/4 cup Milk 250g icing sugar 1\/2 cup Milk powder 1\/2 cup Almonds Edible glitter lustre @cosmic_south_africa Sliced and coloured almonds for decoration.
