{"id":22932,"date":"2023-05-25T06:47:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-24T22:47:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=22932"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:29:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:29:49","slug":"rasmalai-katz__kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/rasmalai-katz__kitchen","title":{"rendered":"Rasmalai"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Milk Curd Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>3L of full cream milk<br \/>\n2\/3 cup of white vinegar<\/p>\n<h2>Saffron Milk Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 L of full cream milk<br \/>\n2 cups of full cream milk powder<br \/>\n1 tsp of cardamom powder<br \/>\n1 pinch of saffron<br \/>\n1 and 2\/3 cups of caster sugar<\/p>\n<h2>Other Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>4 tbsp of corn flour<br \/>\n1 cup of caster sugar<br \/>\n6 cups of water<br \/>\nsliced pistachios and more saffron, to garnish<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>1. Heat the milk and once it starts bubbling, then off the flame and let it cool down slightly<br \/>\n2. Once slightly cooler, add the vinegar and stir until the milk separates<br \/>\n3. Pour the curdled milk over a strainer covered with a cheese cloth<br \/>\n4. Rinse the curdled milk with cold water and let it hang in the cheese cloth for at least 30 minutes<br \/>\n5. Meanwhile to make the saffron milk, heat the milk and add milk powder, cardamom powder, saffron strands and caster sugar<br \/>\n6. Bring the saffron milk to a boil and keep stirring until it reduces by half<br \/>\n7. Set the saffron milk aside to cool down<br \/>\n8. Knead the milk curds for about 10 minutes until smooth<br \/>\n9. Add corn flour and knead again<br \/>\n10. Form into flat balls<br \/>\n11. Create a sugar syrup by boiling the sugar and water<br \/>\n12. Once the syrup starts boiling, add the balls and cook for 5 minutes of high heat<br \/>\n13. Turn off the heat and let the balls soak for about 20 minutes<br \/>\n14. Pour some of the saffron milk into a bowl and add the balls<br \/>\n15. Add more saffron milk on top<br \/>\n16. Garnish with pistachios and more saffron<br \/>\n17. Refrigerate it for about 4 hours<br \/>\n18.
