(Salty arab style ones ).<br \/>\nToasted pine nuts for garnish (optional )<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a large pot bring up water to a boil , add salt and add the pasta to cook .<br \/>\nCook off onion and mince in some olive oil and season well with salt n pepper .<br \/>\nAdd tomato paste and pasta water from pasta pot and let it simmer on a low heat about 10 mins , until the pasta is cooked .<br \/>\nOnce pasta is cooked using a pasta ladle strain the pasta into the sauce pot , mix well with sauce and add butter and mix well together.<br \/>\nTaste for salt and add more if you like .<br \/>\nLower the heat and cover about 10 mins , the idea is for the pasta to be dry not saucy !<br \/>\nBest served at room temperature not hot.<br \/>\nTop with some toasted pine nuts if you like .<br \/>\nA lot of people like to finish this off in the oven for about 15 mins in baking tray to make it extra dry and create a crisp layer of pasta on top .<br \/>\nFeel free to do so if you like .<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients 1 pcket linguine pasta @barillaaus 1\/2 kilo beef mince 1 chopped brown onion 6 tablespoons tomato paste 2 tablespoons butter 2 cups pasta water Olive oil 4 tbs 2 tbs salt for pasta water 1 tbs salt for sauce , 1 tsp pepper or arab mixed spices .
