{"id":22856,"date":"2023-05-20T12:25:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-20T04:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=22856"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:30:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:30:03","slug":"cold-cut-banh-mi-vietnamese-baguette-sandwich-wondernonieskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/cold-cut-banh-mi-vietnamese-baguette-sandwich-wondernonieskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Cold Cut Banh Mi (Vietnamese Baguette Sandwich)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 crusty baguettes<br \/>\n2 tbsp mayonnaise<br \/>\n2 tbsp pa\u0302te\u0301 of choice<br \/>\n8 slices cold cuts of choice (I used a mixture of turkey &amp; beef ham)<br \/>\n4 tbsp do chua (Vietnamese pickled carrot &amp; daikon)<br \/>\n2 tbsp cucumber (sliced, I ran out)<br \/>\n1 tbsp cilantro (chopped)<br \/>\n1 tbsp jalapen\u0303o or serrano chillies (sliced)<br \/>\n2 tsp Maggi seasoning (or substitute with a mixture of soy sauce &amp; Worcestershire)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Slice baguettes in half &amp; slather bottom halves with mayonnaise.<br \/>\nSpread on the pa\u0302te\u0301 on both halves &amp; layer on the cold cut meats.<br \/>\nAdd pickled carrot &amp; daikon, cucumbers, cilantro &amp; sliced chillies.<br \/>\nSplash a little Maggi seasoning (if using)<\/p>\n<h2>Note<\/h2>\n<p>to make pickled carrot &amp; daikon, combine 500g each of julienned carrot &amp; daikon with 2 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 cup white vinegar &amp; 1 cup warm water.
