{"id":22802,"date":"2023-05-17T08:29:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-17T00:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=22802"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:30:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:30:14","slug":"coconut-gulab-jamun-the_kitchen_girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/coconut-gulab-jamun-the_kitchen_girl","title":{"rendered":"Coconut Gulab Jamun"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>( 1 cup 250ml)<br \/>\n1 1\/4 cup 2 tsp cake \/ all purpose flour @snowflake_sa<br \/>\n1 tbs samolina<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder @royalbakingpowdersa<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp bicarbonate soda \/ baking soda<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp elaichi\/ cardamon powder<br \/>\nLarge pinch nutmeg<br \/>\n1 large egg<br \/>\n3 tsp oil<br \/>\n1\/2 cup condensed milk @nestlesouthafrica_<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Mix all the ingredients well, except the flour.<br \/>\nNow add the flour in slowly and mix.<br \/>\nYou want a soft but not a sticky dough.<br \/>\nThats the quantity of flour i used above.<br \/>\nYou might need less or more.<br \/>\nDivide into 30 for small or 25 for medium jamuns.<br \/>\nYou can make them into any size you like. Remember it expands in the oil to triple the size. Keep that in mind.<br \/>\nRoll into an oblong shape.<br \/>\n2inches for small and 3 inches for medium.<br \/>\nDeep fry on low to medium heat till golden. Drain leave aside on kitchen paper.<br \/>\nMake the syrup simmering hot . Switch the heat off. Add the jamuns and soak according to your preference.<br \/>\nIf you dont like yours too syrupy, soak for a less amount of time.<br \/>\nThe Jamuns will soak all of the syrup.<br \/>\nI kept mine soaked overnight until all the syrup was absorbed.<br \/>\nRemove and coat in desiccated coconut.<br \/>\nReady to serve!!<br \/>\nStore in an airtight container.<br \/>\nEnjoy!!!<\/p>\n<h2>For The Syrup<\/h2>\n<p>1 1\/2 cups sugar<br \/>\n3 cups water<br \/>\n1 tbs rose water<br \/>\n5 saffron strands<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp elachi \/ cardamon powder<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Boil the above till it just begins to feel sticky. It should still be thin though. Preferably the syrup will become half the quantity. Leave aside.
