{"id":21947,"date":"2023-04-30T13:46:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-30T05:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=21947"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:31:32","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:31:32","slug":"chicken-karahi-ataleofsauceandspice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/chicken-karahi-ataleofsauceandspice","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Karahi"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>3 chicken fillets (can use whole chicken pieces too)<br \/>\n1\u20443 cup Oil or ghee for cooking<br \/>\n1 heaped teaspoon ground ginger<br \/>\n1 heaped teaspoon ground garlic<br \/>\n1 level teaspoon ground green chillies<br \/>\n1 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cumin<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground coriander powder<br \/>\nSalt and pepper to taste<br \/>\n3-4 large tomatoes (chopped)<br \/>\n2 Tablespoons thick plain yogurt<br \/>\nFreshly chopped coriander, lemon wedges and ginger julienne for garnish<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a wok heat oil\/ghee add the chicken along with ginger, garlic and green chillies paste. Let it cook on high heat till the chicken is slightly browned.<br \/>\nAdd the remaining spices and cook for 2 minutes.<br \/>\nAdd the chopped tomatoes mix and let it slow cook on very low heat till the tomatoes are soft and the oil comes to the surface.<br \/>\n(Keep staring in between to avoid burning at the bottom).<br \/>\nOnce the oil is released add yoghurt mix everything and let it simmer for a minute or two. Garnish with ginger and freshly chopped coriander. Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon hot naan or rotis and more plain yogurt on the side if desired.
