Full Fat Milk 3 liters<br \/>\n2. Sugar 2 cups or as you like<br \/>\n3. Basmati Rice 3\/4 cup (soaked overnight)<br \/>\n4. Refined Sugar 1 1\/2 cup<br \/>\n5. Cardamom powder 1 1\/2 tsp<br \/>\n6. Pistachios<br \/>\n7. Almonds for garnishing<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>1. Slightly grease the pot with ghee before adding milk. Greasing helps the milk fat<br \/>\nfrom sticking up to the bottom.<br \/>\n2. Add milk to a heavy bottom pan and bring it to a boil on a high flame.<br \/>\n3. When milk starts boiling add soaked Basmati Rice and keep stirring often to avoid<br \/>\nburning from the bottom. Keep the flame on low.<br \/>\n4. Add Cardamom powder on this stage and keep stirring.<br \/>\n5. Cook until Rice is mushy and milk change its color from &#8220;White&#8221; to &#8220;Pinkish&#8221;.<br \/>\n6. Add sugar in Rice and Milk mixture and keep stirring. Don&#8217;t stop until the Kheer thickens.<br \/>\n7. When Kheer reaches to thick but in runny consistency switch off the flame.
