Water ( just 10ml less in 3\u20444 cup)<br \/>\n1 Tblsp hot oil<br \/>\n2 pinches baking powder<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a mixing bowl add boiled potatoes. Mash it. Add all the ingredients for the potato mixture.<br \/>\nPrepare the tempering by heating oil. Add mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Add it to the potatoes. Mix well then form in to small balls and set aside.<br \/>\nMix the ingredients for the batter. Make sure there&#8217;s no lumps. Add hot oil and baking powder. Lastly mix once more.<br \/>\nThereafter dip the potato balls in the batter. Coat well and fry in medium hot oil. Remove on a paper towel.<br \/>\nSlice a bun in half, smear some tamarind and coriander chutney, add a smashed Vada, top with some sev and more chutneys if desired.
