{"id":21042,"date":"2023-04-05T08:28:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-05T00:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=21042"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:32:37","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:32:37","slug":"soft-choc-chip-cookies-ataleofsauceandspice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/soft-choc-chip-cookies-ataleofsauceandspice","title":{"rendered":"Soft Choc Chip Cookies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>113g softened butter<br \/>\n1\u20444 cup granulated sugar<br \/>\n1\u20442 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1 large egg (room temperature)<br \/>\n1 teaspoon vanilla essence<br \/>\n11\u20442 cups all purpose flour<br \/>\n1\u20442 teaspoon baking soda<br \/>\nPinch of salt<br \/>\n3\u20444 cup semi sweet choc chips<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar for 5 minutes or until light and creamy.<br \/>\nBeat in the egg and vanilla.<br \/>\nIn a separate bowl combine the dry ingredients well.<br \/>\nCombine the dry ingredients with the creamed butter mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips.<br \/>\nUse a trigger release ice cream scoop to divide equal portions of the dough. (I made about 12 medium sized cookies).<br \/>\nRoll in to dough balls. Flatten each dough ball slightly and place on a parchment lined baking sheet\/silicone mat.<br \/>\nBake in a preheated oven at 175C for 10 minutes. Or until the edges are just turning golden. The tops should still look under-baked (this will ensurea soft cookie). Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet 5 min then transfer to a rack to cool.<br \/>\nEnjoy with your favourite tea or coffee .<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong> over baking the cookies will result in hard cookies. Be sure to remove them from the oven in time. You may make them as big or small as you like.
