{"id":19953,"date":"2023-04-02T07:19:00","date_gmt":"2023-04-01T23:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=19953"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:32:42","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:32:42","slug":"peri-peri-liver-food_with_fatty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/peri-peri-liver-food_with_fatty","title":{"rendered":"Peri Peri Liver"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>500g of chicken liver<br \/>\n1 small onion, sliced<br \/>\n2 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste<br \/>\n1 tsp of salt<br \/>\n1 tbsp of tomato puree<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp of tumeric<br \/>\n1 tsp of smoked paprika<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp of cayenne pepper<br \/>\n1 cup of Nandos Peri Peri Hot Sauce<br \/>\n1 heaped tbsp of butter<br \/>\n4 cardamoms<br \/>\n1 cinnamon stick<br \/>\noil<br \/>\nhandful of Coriander for garnishing<br \/>\nCrusty Garlic Bread for serving<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>1. Wash the liver and drain. Cut into bite size pieces. Sprinkle over the tumeric and salt and coat the liver pieces.<br \/>\n2. In a pan heat up a few tbsp of oil. Add the liver and allow to cook for around 5-10minutes. Once the liver is golden, place on a plate and set aside.<br \/>\n3. In the same pan, heat up a few more tbsps of oil. Add in the cardamom, cinnamon stick, onions and ginger and garlic paste. Add salt and allow the onions to soften.<br \/>\n4. Mix in the tomato puree and allow to cook for a few minutes.<br \/>\n5. Add in the paprika, cayenne and peri sauce. Add a splash of water. Mix and bring to a gently bubble. Add in the butter and mix in.<br \/>\n6. Add the liver back in and gently coat. Allow to cook on low heat for another 10 minutes.<br \/>\n7. Garnish with coriander and serve warm.
