{"id":19114,"date":"2023-03-10T10:01:00","date_gmt":"2023-03-10T02:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=19114"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:33:23","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:33:23","slug":"chicken-katsu-curry-stirwithme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/chicken-katsu-curry-stirwithme","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Katsu Curry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients For Katsu<\/h2>\n<p>4 boneless chicken thighs<br \/>\n1\/4 cup all purpose flour<br \/>\n2 cup panko bread crumbs<br \/>\n2 eggs, beaten<br \/>\nSalt and pepper<br \/>\nOil for deep fry<\/p>\n<h2>Curry Sauce<\/h2>\n<p>3 cubes Japanese curry roux<br \/>\n1 large or 2 small onions, thinly sliced<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves, grated<br \/>\n1 large apple, roughly chopped or blend<br \/>\n600-700ml chicken stock (or water)<br \/>\n1 tbsp ketchup<br \/>\n1 tbsp Soy sauce<br \/>\n1\/4-1\/2 tsp Dark soy sauce (optional, for color)<br \/>\n1 tbsp honey or sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 stick of Butter<br \/>\nSalt if needed<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>1. Curry: Over medium flame, Melt butter in a pot or a deep pan, saute garlic and onions until brown<br \/>\n2. Add chopped apple, ketchup, soy sauce, honey and cook for 1-2 min<br \/>\n3. Add chicken stock or water also curry cubes, stir until cubes dissolve in the stock<br \/>\n4. Transfer curry mixture into a food processor and blend until smooth<br \/>\n5. Bring the curry back into the pot, simmer for a min, add 2 tbsp more of butter if desire and dark soy sauce (if using)<br \/>\n6. Chicken katsu: season chicken lightly with salt and pepper then coat lightly with all purpose flour<br \/>\n7. Dip into the egg mixture, then dredge into the panko bread crumbs, evenly<br \/>\n8. Deep fry chicken into the hot oil over medium flame, until golden brown and crispy.<br \/>\n9. Remove and cut chicken into 1 inch pieces<br \/>\n10.
