Wash Urad lentils in fresh water and drain. Repeat this 3 times.<br \/>\n2. Place the lentils in a pressure cooker adding 2 cups of warm water and 1\/2 Tsp Salt. Place on high heat for roughly 8 minutes depending on your pressure cooker.<br \/>\n3. In the meantime pour oil into a saucepan with jeera seeds and let them sizzle.<br \/>\n4. Once sizzling add chopped tomatoes stirring well. Then add in salt, turmeric and homemade chutney (minced garlic with chilli powder). Mix well once again and let it simmer for a couple minutes.<br \/>\n5. Add the tomato masala mixture to your cooked lentils ensuring both mixtures are well combined. Add a little hot water to the tomato masala saucepan to take all the seasoning and add that to the Urad dal.<br \/>\n6.
