Set aside. Don\u2019t fully cook it because it\u2019ll continue cooking in the broth. this step is optional and to give chicken golden colour only.<br \/>\nIn THE SAME pot, melt the butter as your scraping all the chicken flavour stuck in the pot then add the flour and keep mixing till golden. should be a smooth runny paste.<br \/>\nPour in hot water ( around a litre and a half ) whilst mixing to dissolve the flour paste.<br \/>\nAdd in the onion, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, chicken stock cubes, cardamom pod, turmeric and the chicken.<br \/>\nLeave to simmer boil for about 15-20 minutes.<br \/>\nRemove chicken &amp; Take out the spices from the broth using a strainer.
