{"id":18310,"date":"2023-02-19T08:41:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-19T00:41:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=18310"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:35:18","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:35:18","slug":"lebanese-mansaf-insidereereeskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/lebanese-mansaf-insidereereeskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Lebanese Mansaf"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><strong>For the broth you need :<\/strong><br \/>\n1 bag of @mimosspicebags<br \/>\nOr you can use cinnamon stick<br \/>\nDry lemon<br \/>\n2 bay leaves<br \/>\n1 onion<br \/>\nLemon slices<br \/>\nChicken breast fillets<br \/>\n<strong>For the rice you need:<\/strong><br \/>\n1brown onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 kilo mince meat<br \/>\n(11\u20442 -2 cups) basmati rice, washed and drained<br \/>\nPaprika<br \/>\nSalt<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp black pepper<br \/>\n1\u20442 tsp Lebanese mixed spices (seven spices)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp Corianda seeds<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp Ground cinnamon<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp All spices<br \/>\n1 tbsp Mansaf spices<br \/>\n2 tbsp vegetable oil<br \/>\n1 tbsp Butter<br \/>\n1\u20442 cup flaked\/slivered almonds<br \/>\nLebanese salad, to serve<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika.<br \/>\nIn a pot add vegetable oil and sear the chicken on both sides till golden.<br \/>\nOnce done add cinnamon stick, dry lemon, onion, lemon wedges and bay leaves.<br \/>\nPour 4 to 5 cups of water on top of the chicken and let it boil for 15-20 mintues.<br \/>\nScrape any fat from the top. Drain, reserving the stock.<br \/>\nWhen cool enough to handle, coarsely shred the chicken.<br \/>\nAdd the butter and onion and cook for 5 minutes until the onion softens.<br \/>\nAdd the mince meat and cook, stirring regularly, for 10 minutes until the meat cooks and the water evaporates.<br \/>\nAdd rice and salt, black pepper, coriander, cinnamon, mansaf spices, lebanese mix spices and all spices. Stir and cook for 2 minutes than add the reserved chicken stock and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for 10\u201312 minutes, until the rice is cooked. To serve, top the rice with shredded chicken and almonds.
