{"id":18195,"date":"2023-02-16T09:22:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T01:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=18195"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:35:40","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:35:40","slug":"chicken-in-coconut-curry-lemon-sauce-insidereereeskitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/chicken-in-coconut-curry-lemon-sauce-insidereereeskitchen","title":{"rendered":"Chicken In Coconut Curry Lemon Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><strong>For the chicken we need<\/strong><br \/>\n4 chicken breasts divided in half<br \/>\n2-4 garlic cloves, minced<br \/>\nSalt and pepper<br \/>\n<strong>For the sauce we need<\/strong><br \/>\n1\/2 tbs crushed garlic<br \/>\n1 chopped onion<br \/>\n1 chopped red bell pepper<br \/>\n1 cup vegetable or chicken broth (mixed with 1 tbsp cornstarch)<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. turmeric<br \/>\n2 tsp. curry (it&#8217;s spicy start with 1 tsp first than add to taste)<br \/>\n1 can of coconut milk<br \/>\njuice of 1 lemon<br \/>\n1\/2 cup heavy cream<br \/>\n2 cups cherry tomato sliced<br \/>\n2 Lemon slices to decorate (optional)<br \/>\nCoriander chopped to taste<br \/>\nSalt to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions<\/h2>\n<p>In a bowl add chicken, add minced garlic than season with salt and black pepper.<br \/>\nMix well than in a skillet add oil and cook the chicken. When you seal the chicken in the pan, it doesn&#8217;t matter if it isn&#8217;t fully cooked inside, it will finish cooking inside the sauce.<br \/>\nRemove and set aside. In the same skillet cook onion and garlic and if necessary add a little more oil to the pan before adding the garlic and onion (I used olive oil).<br \/>\nAdd capsicum than add the broth, you can buy it ready-made or make it at home or mix hot water with a seasoning cube.<br \/>\nOnce the broth slightly starts to evaporates add spices, coconut milk and thickened cream. Add the chicken back to the pan.<br \/>\nAdd lemon, the cherry tomatoes and once the chicken has boiled in the sauce add coriander.<br \/>\nif you prefer a more curry flavor, add a little more to taste. Serve it with white rice.
