In a roasting pan or plate place the leg of lamb and make 10-12 inserts with a paring knife.<br \/>\nStick garlic slice into each opening. In a small bowl add 2 garlic cloves of garlic, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.<br \/>\nAdd the olive oil and mix well. In a roasting pan place foil than baking paper on top.<br \/>\nSprinkle roast with more salt than rub with spice mix all around.<br \/>\nTurn around and repeat on another side.<br \/>\nCover it with the cooking paper first than with the foil and bake for 5 hours.
