{"id":16439,"date":"2023-01-03T08:19:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-03T00:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=16439"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:37:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:37:08","slug":"roast-chicken-with-gravy-stirwithme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/roast-chicken-with-gravy-stirwithme","title":{"rendered":"Roast Chicken With Gravy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 kg whole chicken<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp Salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp black pepper<br \/>\n1-2 tbsp olive oil<\/p>\n<h2>Stuffing And Under Chook<\/h2>\n<p>1 small garlic bulb, halved<br \/>\n1 small Onion, halved<br \/>\n1 small Lemon, halved<br \/>\n1 sprig rosemary<\/p>\n<h2>Butter Mixture (Premixed)<\/h2>\n<p>3 tbsp melted butter<br \/>\n1 tsp dried parsley<br \/>\n1 fresh sprigs rosemary (or 1 tsp dried)<br \/>\n1 fresh sprigs thyme (or 1 tsp dried)<br \/>\n3 garlic cloves, grated<br \/>\nHalf a lemon juice<br \/>\nPinch of salt and pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Gravy<\/h2>\n<p>2 tbsp flour<br \/>\n300ml chicken stock<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp dark soy sauce (for color, optional)<br \/>\nChicken juices and oil from roasted chicken<br \/>\nSalt sugar pepper<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>1. Preheat oven to 220 C<br \/>\n2. Pat dry chicken, and start loosen chicken skin using spoon (breast and thigh parts)<br \/>\n3. Spoon in 1\/2 portion of the butter mixture under the chicken skin evenly and rub the rest of the butter mixture on the external back and front skin evenly<br \/>\n4. Stuffed half an onion, garlic bulb, used lemon and rosemary sprig inside the chicken cavity<br \/>\n5. Tie chicken drumsticks with string and tuck in the wings<br \/>\n6. Layer half of a lemon, onion, garlic bulb on a baking dish or roasting pan<br \/>\n7. Place the chicken on top, and drizzle olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper<br \/>\n8. Roast for 10 mins and lower the heat to 180C and roast for 45-50mins. Chicken is cooked when internal temperature reach 75C<br \/>\n9.
