{"id":15986,"date":"2022-11-26T09:24:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-26T01:24:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=15986"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:37:40","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:37:40","slug":"pearl-couscous-salad-normasfooddiary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/pearl-couscous-salad-normasfooddiary","title":{"rendered":"Pearl Couscous Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1 cup dried @cortasfood pearl CousCous (moghrabieh)<br \/>\n1\u20444 teaspoon cumin, paprika &amp; turmeric<br \/>\n1\u20442 red, green, and yellow capsicum, finely chopped<br \/>\n1\u20442 red onion, finely chopped<br \/>\nShredded iceberg lettuce<br \/>\nShredded red cabbage<br \/>\nChopped parsley<br \/>\nChopped fresh mint<br \/>\nChopped spring onion<br \/>\nToasted slivered almonds<br \/>\nDried currants<br \/>\nPumpkin seeds<br \/>\nSunflower seeds<\/p>\n<h2>Dressing<\/h2>\n<p>1 lemon juiced, olive oil, 2 small cloves crushed garlic, salt &amp; pepper to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>In a medium saucepan, heat about 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the pearl couscous and toss it around to toast (the couscous pearls should turn a nice golden brown). Add the cumin, paprika and turmeric and stir.<br \/>\nBoil 1 1\u20442 cups of water and add it to the toasted pearl couscous. Season with salt. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat to low. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes or until the pearl couscous is tender.
