Add ginger garlic paste and cook for couple of minutes.<br \/>\nAdd chopped tomatoes along with turmeric, chili, salt and cumin. Cook for a minute and cover the pan with the lid so tomatoes get soft.<br \/>\nAfter 5 minutes remove the lid and mash the tomatoes. And cook until oil separates.<br \/>\nAdd daal with enough water that covers the lentil. Put the lid on and let the lentil cook on low heat.<br \/>\nWhen the lentil is soft and all the water is absorbed garnish it with Julian ginger, sliced chili and chopped cilantro.<br \/>\nIn a fry pan heat 3 Tbsp of oil and add 1 tbsp Kashmiri Mitch.
