{"id":15771,"date":"2022-11-17T09:39:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-17T01:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=15771"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:38:03","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:38:03","slug":"home-made-ras-malai-bon_appetit_by_nadia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/home-made-ras-malai-bon_appetit_by_nadia","title":{"rendered":"Home Made Ras Malai"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>powdered Milk 1 cup<br \/>\nBaking powder 1 teaspoon<br \/>\nGhee 1 tablespoon @room temperature<br \/>\nFlour 1 tablespoon<br \/>\nEgg 1<\/p>\n<h2>For The Milk Syrup<\/h2>\n<p>Milk 3 cups<br \/>\nSugar 1\/2 cup<br \/>\nCardamom few pods<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>First in a sauce pan simmer the milk with sugar until sugar is dissolved with cardamom pods on medium flame<br \/>\nIn a large bowl add the milk powder , baking powder , flour , ghee and knead with egg to form a soft dough<br \/>\nGrease the hands with oil and form balls from the dough depending on your choice u can make small or large balls like the size of rasmalai<br \/>\nPut these balls one by one in the boiling milk and let them cook for 5 min on medium flame<br \/>\nCover with the lid after 5 min and don\u2019t open the lid until at least 5 min more<br \/>\nOnce balls start to double up in size cook for another 3 min on low flame<br \/>\nTurn off the flame now and Let it cool down on room temperature for 1 hour<br \/>\nRefrigerate for minimum 4-6 hours<br \/>\nGarnish with pistachios and edible rose<\/p>\n<h2>Pitfalls<\/h2>\n<p>All things should be at room temperature<br \/>\nUse full fat milk only preferably Nido<br \/>\nBaking powder should be new and not double action at all !!!
