{"id":15635,"date":"2022-11-10T07:51:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-09T23:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=15635"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:38:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:38:26","slug":"moreish-vege-lentil-soup-normasfooddiary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/moreish-vege-lentil-soup-normasfooddiary","title":{"rendered":"Moreish Vege Lentil Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>11\u20442 Cups red lentils, washed<br \/>\n1 carrot, grated<br \/>\n1 zucchini, grated<br \/>\n1 onion, diced<br \/>\n1\u20444 cup medium grain rice (do not wash)<br \/>\n1 heaped teaspoon vegeta<br \/>\n1\u20442 teaspoon cumin<br \/>\n1\u20442 teaspoon paprika<br \/>\nSalt &amp; Cracked pepper to taste<br \/>\nTablespoon ghee<br \/>\nBoiling water to fill pot<br \/>\nChilli flakes &amp; chopped parsley to garnish<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a large pot add ghee and saute your onions for a few minutes till soft.<br \/>\nAdd all the rest of the ingredients, (season to taste with salt towards the end.)<br \/>\nBring to a boil and you will need to keep an eye on it at the beginning as it will froth up and you will need to skim the top to avoid it overflowing.<br \/>\nOnce you have removed the froth bring to a medium boil and cook for approx 40-45mins. You may need to add more water during the course of the cooking time.<br \/>\nI didnt blend todays soup but you can using a heatproof blender or stick blender to get a smoother soup.
