{"id":15169,"date":"2022-11-01T08:56:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-01T00:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=15169"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:39:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:39:16","slug":"slow-cooked-lamb-shanks-with-lemony-gremolata-hungergameswithazzy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/slow-cooked-lamb-shanks-with-lemony-gremolata-hungergameswithazzy","title":{"rendered":"Slow Cooked Lamb Shanks With Lemony Gremolata"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 kilos shanks<br \/>\n3 celery sticks diced small<br \/>\n3 carrots diced small<br \/>\n2 onions diced small<br \/>\n4 garlic cloves crushed<br \/>\n1 litre of chicken stock<br \/>\ncan of crushed tomatoes<br \/>\n3 tbs verjuice<br \/>\nsalt<br \/>\npepper<br \/>\nflour<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>In a bowl add some flour with salt and pepper coat shanks and shake of any excess<br \/>\nIn a large pot add a splash of olive oil and sear the shanks until golden brown put them in tray<br \/>\nIn the same pot you used for the shanks add a splash of olive oil and saute onion and garlic celery and carrots until soft and translucent.<br \/>\nAdd the chicken stock and canned tomatoes and verjuice.<br \/>\nAdd salt and pepper to taste let it boil then pour broth over shanks to cover.<br \/>\nFoil the tray and place in the oven for 4 hours or until shanks are soft and falling off the bone.<br \/>\nServe on a bed of creamy mashed potatos and a spoonful of gremolata to break the richness of the tomato<\/p>\n<h2>Gremolata<\/h2>\n<p>1 bunch chopped parsley<br \/>\nHalf a lemon juiced<br \/>\nLemon zest of a whole lemon<br \/>\n1 garlic clove crushed<br \/>\nsplash of olive oil<br \/>\nsalt<br \/>\npepper<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Add ingredients together and mix.
