Meanwhile, add to a mixing bowl the sugar, butter and egg and mix until you get a paste-like texture.<br \/>\nAdd the flour in 3 parts while sifting them, mixing in between each addition.<br \/>\nStir in the salt, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon.<br \/>\nFold in the dates, walnuts and raisins.<br \/>\nPrepare your baking pan by buttering and flouring it before placing the cake batter inside.<br \/>\nBake at 180C for 35-40 minutes depending on your oven.<br \/>\nLet cool before taking out of the baking pan.<br \/>\nSprinkle on top powdered sugar or any fruit of your liking.
