{"id":14648,"date":"2022-10-19T10:55:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-19T02:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=14648"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:40:24","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:40:24","slug":"persian-style-lamb-curry-katz__kitchen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/persian-style-lamb-curry-katz__kitchen","title":{"rendered":"Persian Style Lamb Curry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Persian Style Lamb Curry Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1kg of lamb (I used bbq chop pieces as that\u2019s what I had but preferably use curry pieces)<br \/>\n2 small onions, sliced<br \/>\n2 x 4cm long cinnamon sticks<br \/>\n5 cloves<br \/>\n4 cardamom pods<br \/>\n1 tsp of garam masala<br \/>\n1 tsp of ground cumin<br \/>\n1 tsp of ground coriander<br \/>\n1 tsp of chilli powder<br \/>\n2 tbsp of garlic ginger paste<br \/>\n12 almonds, crushed<br \/>\n2 cups of water<br \/>\nsalt and oil, to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>1. Lightly brown the meat and set aside<br \/>\n2. In the same pan, add more oil and saute\u0301 the onions with the cinnamon sticks, cloves and cardamom pods<br \/>\n3. Once the onions have started turning golden brown, add the garam masala, cumin, coriander and chilli powders<br \/>\n4. Add additional oil if necessary and add garlic ginger paste<br \/>\n5. Season with salt and add the crushed almonds before frying the onion mix on high heat for a couple of minutes<br \/>\n6. Add water and place the meat back in<br \/>\n7. Cover the meat with the spices<br \/>\n8. Simmer on low for about 40 minutes, or until the meat is tender<br \/>\n9.
