Bring everything to a boil.<br \/>\nIn a seperate pan add clarified butter. Add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick and bay leaf. Once they start splattering add the chopped nuts. Heat this on medium heat, stirring often to roast the nuts well. Keep this roasting till they slightly change the color.<br \/>\nOnce the rice is cooked 3\/4, drain it in a colander.<br \/>\nAdd rice, sugar and nuts. Mix well<br \/>\nCover the pot and turn the heat to the lowest setting possible.
