{"id":14617,"date":"2022-10-18T12:10:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T04:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=14617"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:40:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:40:30","slug":"green-masala-chicken-pies-the_kitchen_girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/green-masala-chicken-pies-the_kitchen_girl","title":{"rendered":"Green Masala Chicken Pies"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Green Masala Chicken Pies Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>40g Fresh coriander<br \/>\n40g fresh mint<br \/>\n40g spring onions<br \/>\nGreen chillies to taste<br \/>\n1\/4 cup plain thick yogurt<br \/>\n3 tablespoon lemon juice<br \/>\n<em>***Blend the above to form a paste.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>***Add to the items below and marinate overnight.<\/em><br \/>\n500g chicken fillet cut into small cubes<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\n1 teaspoon white pepper<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon Coriander powder<br \/>\n1 teaspoon cumin powder<br \/>\n1 1\/2 teaspoon garam masala<br \/>\nFew drops of Green food colour ( optional)<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Heat 2 tablespoons of oil.<br \/>\nAdd 150g finely chopped onions and saute until soft.<br \/>\nAdd the marinated chicken and cook until firm and dry.<br \/>\nAdd 1 tablespoon of corn starch mixed in 1\/2 cup water to the chicken.<br \/>\nMix and simmer until you get a thick saucy consistency.<br \/>\nAdd a little more water if its too thick. Dont make it too runny.<br \/>\nCool completely.<br \/>\nFill into your pie cases.<br \/>\nI used precut oval pie cases @pastry_delights_sa of 30g each.<br \/>\nYou will need 40 pieces.<br \/>\n( place one pie pastry onto your work surface, add about 1 heap tablespoon of the chicken filling on top.<br \/>\nTo the other top pastry brush with eggwash. Place eggwash side down towards the filling.
