{"id":14506,"date":"2022-10-15T17:54:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-15T09:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=14506"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:40:49","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:40:49","slug":"lemon-rice-the_kitchen_girl","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/lemon-rice-the_kitchen_girl","title":{"rendered":"Lemon Rice"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Lemon Rice ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 cups cooked Basmati rice<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon Arad dal<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon chana daal<br \/>\n10 peanuts<br \/>\n10 cashew nuts<br \/>\n3\/4 teaspoon mustard seeds<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon whole cumin<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon Turmeric powder ( add more if you want the rice more yellow)<br \/>\n10 curry leaves<br \/>\n1 whole red dry chilli<br \/>\n1\/8 teaspoon Asafoetida<br \/>\nSalt to taste<br \/>\nChopped fresh coriander as needed<br \/>\n2 tablespoons oil<br \/>\n1 1\/2 tablespoon lemon juice ( add less or more to taste)<br \/>\n1 teaspoon finely chopped ginger<br \/>\nSliced green chillies to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Heat the oil.<br \/>\nAdd the chana and arad daal.<br \/>\nAlso add in the mustard seeds and cumin.<br \/>\nFry until the daals just begins to turn pink.<br \/>\nAdd the peanuts, cashews, whole red chilli and Asafoetida. Fry for minute.<br \/>\nSwitch the heat off and add the curry leaves, turmeric powder, ginger and sliced green chillies.<br \/>\nBring the heat back on again and mix everything well.<br \/>\nOnce it begins sizzling again, add the lemon juice. Mix.<br \/>\nAdd the rice and salt to taste.
