{"id":13810,"date":"2022-10-11T09:09:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-11T01:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/?p=13810"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:41:31","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T12:41:31","slug":"leyla-icli-kofte-korkyskitchenofficial_","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/resepmamiku.com\/en\/leyla-icli-kofte-korkyskitchenofficial_","title":{"rendered":"Leyla Icli Kofte"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Leyla Icli Kofte Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>For the shell you\u2019ll need :<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n1.5 kilos extra fine bulgur<br \/>\n2 large eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 kilo fine beef mince (Kebbi nayi mince ) you can skip this if you like but it makes the kneading process so much easier , otherwise you can go without but it means you gotta really kneed that dough a good half hour or so until it\u2019s sticky and can form a ball to be stuffed .<br \/>\n2 tbs salt 1 tbs pepper<br \/>\n2 tbs sweet paprika<br \/>\n1 cup fine semolina<br \/>\n2-3 cups of water (depends on kneading )<br \/>\n1.5 cup plain flour<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>Wash burgul really well and squeeze out excess water and allow to rest an hour .<br \/>\nOnce it\u2019s expanded add the eggs , salt n pepper , paprika , semolina , flour and add the water gradually .<br \/>\nMix altogether kneading well like Leyla is in the video . Should take about half hour . Keep adding water gradually until your happy with sticky dough . If you feel it\u2019s dry add more water slowly if you feel it got too wet add a little more flour to thicken again .<\/p>\n<h2>For The Filling You\u2019ll Need<\/h2>\n<p>1.5 kilo beef mince @hosnabutchery<br \/>\n4 large onions , diced finely.<br \/>\n1 tbs tomato paste<br \/>\n1 tbs chilli ACI capsicum paste<br \/>\n1 tbs KEKIK (dry thyme )<br \/>\n1 tbs tumeric<br \/>\n1 tbs chilli flakes or you can use @chilli.bang.sauces<br \/>\n100g un-salted butter<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p>In a large pot heat up some olive oil and cook off mince well with onions adding salt n pepper to taste .<br \/>\nOnce cooked through lower heat and add tomato paste , capsicum paste , thyme , tumeriic , chilli flakes and mix well . Then add the butter and allow all those ingredients to swim in it . Turn off and allow to cool before making up the icli kofte balls.<br \/>\nShape them how ever you like .<br \/>\nTo cook &#8211; bring up water to a boil and add some salt and drop them in slowly , once they rise to the top they are done .<br \/>\nServe with a drizzle of hot butter with paprika or chilli on top and with a dollop of yoghurt .<br \/>\nYou can freeze icli koftes you didn\u2019t boil and cook them next time .
